Big 12 Championship

During the 2021 season, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Van Wagner on an exciting project: creating templates and toolkits for the Big 12 Championships in-venue displays. The initial focus was on Football, but we made sure to design it with versatility in mind, so it could be reused for various other sports as well.

The creative direction at the start was relatively straightforward, with just still graphics and a couple of simple motion designs. To elevate the visual experience, I got to work on crafting animated backgrounds and text elements that seamlessly matched the existing style. Next up, I built a flexible template for Player Headshots, which could be easily updated depending on the two teams playing.

Additionally, I contributed to the creation of engaging ribbon displays and video wall graphics for sponsors, along with crowd prompts and more to amp up the excitement during the championships. It was a rewarding and dynamic project that allowed us to bring out the best in-venue displays for the Big 12 Championships.
